Deadline Extended – Materials Science Research Experience for Teachers

The Molecular Engineering Materials Center (MEM·C) Research Experience for Teachers has now has a rolling deadline. Please share the following information with middle and high school teachers who might be interested !

MEM·C’s Research Experience for Teachers is a six-week session designed for middle and high school teachers who have the goal of integrating materials research into their curriculum. Teachers work directly with materials researchers to participate in state of the art research in one of our labs and then translate this experience into classroom activities. The timing and format of this experience is flexible and participants are provided a stipend of $6,000. MEM·C is a Materials Research and Engineering Center (MRSEC) funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF 1719797).
