First Ever STEM Pals-created In-Person Event
UW STEM Pals (a MEM·C partner) held their first ever STEM Pals-created in-person event last week at Seattle World School!
The lesson had students make flashlights and learn about Ohm’s Law. Pictures and more information about the event is available on the STEM Pals’ website.
STEM Pals is a group of graduate students, undergraduates and faculty at the University of Washington, Seattle. Their goal is to: encourage, inspire & (st)empower Washingtonian high school students to pursue STEM-related activities and education post-graduation.
MEM·C’s very own Education and Training Fellows Tharindu Fernando (Cao Group) and Sam Tetef (Seidler Group) are STEM Pal leaders.
