Cole DeForest is the Weyerhaeuser Endowed Associate Professor in the Departments of Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering. His research integrates the governing principles of rational design with fundamental concepts from material science, synthetic chemistry, protein engineering, and stem cell biology to conceptualize, create, and exploit next-generation technologies to address a variety of health-related problems.
