Sarah Zeitler

2022 Education and Training Fellow


Sarah is a third year graduate student in the UW Department of Chemistry and is a member of Prof. Matthew Golder's lab. Her research utilizes synthetic chemistry to build novel macromolecular architectures that tackle modern societal problems centered on sustainability, biomedicine, engineering, and energy. Sarah says "encouraging young people in their science discovery journey is one of my greatest joys" and her work with MEM-C includes collaborating with our RET participants on curriculum development, enhancing our Nanocamps and mentoring our REU participants.
