Since 2021, MEM·C has been lucky to collaborate with the University of Central Florida’s PREM Center for Ultrafast Dynamics and Catalysis in Emerging Materials (C-UDCEM) and also with the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa’s PREM Center for Materials Research and Education Consortium (MRE-C). These collaborations are fueled by NSF awards for Partnerships for Research and Education in Materials (PREM). Summaries of these partnerships can be found on the PREM page on our website.

If you are interested in learning more about Hawai’i’s MRE-C, check out the latest research highlights from UH’s MRE-C and watch their interview with ThinkTech Hawai’i! Here’s a photo from our 2022 All Hands Meeting attended by MRE-C faculty Godwin Severa (Director), Joseph Brown, and Prezmyslaw Dera (also pictured MEM·C faculty Lilo Pozzo, Daniel Gamelin, and Xiaosong Li).

For those wanting to find out more about Florida’s C-UDCEM, check out our recent joint publication in Communication Materials and follow them @CUDCEM_UCF on Twitter for research updates! Here’s a photo from our 2023 Winter Symposium attended by C-UDCEM faculty Saiful Khondaker (Director) and Parag Banerjee (also pictured MEM·C faculty Daniel Gamelin and David Cobden).
